We collaborate with residents, schools and local organizations to transform underused lots and rooftops in working class and low income communities into sustainable, chemical free, neighborhood farms.
We activate urban nature, strengthen neighborhood-based economies, and increase the quality of learning and skills individuals and families can access in their communities. Our work strengthens bonds between neighbors and creates space to support mutual health and well being, and we can’t do it without you.
Volunteer
Our work would not be possible without our dedicated community of volunteers. We need people to donate their time by working on the farms and helping with food distribution. Specific postings are added here occasionally if you would like to volunteer, but you can always contact us as well.
Jobs
Project EATS is always seeking individuals to contribute to our team who are committed to PE’s mission and culture, work proactively, are self-motivated, action-orientation and plan ahead, willing to learn and work within PE methodology and strategies, and able to make adjustments on the fly. There are no open job postings at the moment, but feel free to reach out for future opportunities.
